Goodguys Fills Fairground Once Again!
Puyallup, WA July 27-29, 2019 - If there weren't over 3000 cars there on Saturday, there sure shoulda' been! Of course we are talking about the Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals, at the Fairgrounds, in Puyallup WA. The place was jumping. Cars and trucks were parked (or double parked!) everywhere they could fit or were in constant motion on the cruise route! Read More!
West Richland's "Cool Desert Nights" the Cruz is Worth the Trip!

Five Years & Counting - Hydros & Hot Rods Keep Getting Better
Kent, WA - If we were looking for symbolism, it would be hard to improve on the newly restored Miss Bardahl at the entrance of the Hydros and Hot Rods. The Bardahl's significance is two- fold, representing the Northwest's commitment to powerboat racing as well as standing for Seattle's history of industry and innovation. The Bardahl Company, which originally owned and raced the boat, was founded by Norwegian immigrant and Seattle (well, Ballard!) resident Ole Bardahl. It continues in business today, selling its signature oil additive products-still out of Seattle! Read More!
Little Creek's Big, Little Show in Shelton
Shelton, WA-It has been quite a while since we've been able to check out Cruise to the Creek and, tell you what---we're glad we went back! By 10:45 the count was at 700 cars, according to show-runner Bob Pearsall and they were a diverse group indeed! For example, a seldom seen Lotus Elan +2 was on hand as was a V8 Mazda, along with multiple Model A hot rods-from rough and ready to highly finished---customs, both traditional and modern, tri-five Chevys, Corvettes, VWs, T-Birds, trucks, Fords, Mercurys and a hot '67 Rambler Rebel. We've missed some, but we figure anyone should get the picture. Put another way, Little Creek Casino, located near Shelton, WA, puts on a SHOW! Read More!

Old Fashioned 4th Celebration Rolls Through Blaine
Blaine, WA - A small-town 4th of July celebration - there just isn't anything quite like it; four blocks of street fair vendors and the Old Town district, alive with "period correct" music on stage, then, to top it all off, a parade directly through mid-town started promptly at noon, for those willing to stay for the full day of entertainment. Oh, yes! There was a car show featuring more than 300 fine examples of cars, trucks and "what-have-you", center stage live music played for several hours. Read More!
RATFESTATION Rat Bastards 10th Reunion
Issaquah, WA - On July 8, 2018 at the Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive In, over 200 Rat, Ratty and Rattiest Rods were in one place at the same time. What a fun show! Also, another 100 or so more conventional vehicles were present. If you can think of something weird or different to do to a vehicle, you would probably have found an example at this show. Some of these Rats were all out race cars - a new chassis, drive train, brakes and go-fast-stuff all under a Rat shell. Lots to look at and talk to owners about at this show. Read More!
